Mark W. Blanchard

Professional Experience:

Mark has been a practicing attorney since 2004 and has an extensive background in municipal law. He has served as the Corporation Counsel to the cities of Yonkers, Peekskill and New Rochelle.  Mark also been senior counsel to the firm of Harris Beach PLLC, and practiced within its Municipal Law and Public Finance practice groups. Mark is currently representing private developers with projects in Westchester County and is also representing municipalities in Westchester, Rockland and Orange Counties.  In addition to land-use and real estate matters, Mark handles a wide variety of civil litigation and mediation issues.

 

Mark is admitted to the New York State Bar and the Southern District of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Westchester County Bar Association.

Mark assists the firm with our New York matters involving real estate, Litigation, Wills, Trusts & Estates, Land Use & Corporate law.

 

He recently started a boutique law firm, Blanchard and Wilson, located in White Plains with a practice area focusing on the counties surrounding the New York City area.

 

Personal Interests and Activities:

Before his law career Mark was a high school teacher and taught tenth grade English at Rice High School in Manhattan. Mark received his Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Lynchburg College in Lynchburg, VA. Mark is an avid golfer and cyclist and is a two-time Ironman triathlon finisher.
